You Will Make It

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6: 1-7

Focus

“Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.” (2 Kings 6: 2)

It is instructive to observe that when the sons of the prophets were to go to Jordan, every man was to get a beam. Every man was to get a portion of what would eventually yield the result of a new house. Every man was to achieve the goal of getting a beam so that the ultimate goal of a new house will be achieved. Nobody was to be left behind. Every man was to achieve the same goal of getting a beam; every man was supposed to make it.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: as you pursue your goals and aspirations alongside other men, you will make it. You will hit the necessary targets. You will achieve what others have achieved. You will not be left behind when the tales of the achievements of men are told. You will not be excluded from the list of those who advanced above limits and boundaries. You will not be left behind while men hit uncommon goals and targets.

Hear me again: concerning your goals and plans this year, you will make it. You will exceed expectations. You will sit on your thrones and wear your crowns; you will take new cities; you will roar and soar; you will not be left out in the list of those who attained new levels; you will not be counted among those who could not make a mark; you will not be counted among those who remained small while others got bigger.

The sons of the prophets all had the potentials to get a beam. You have what it takes to achieve whatever you have seen others achieve. God has endowed you with the capacity to take cities; God has empowered you to go global; God has empowered you to become an example for the next generation; God has endowed you with what you need to be as successful as you can be.

Step out with the confidence of one who has what it takes to make it. As surely as the Lord lives, you will make it.
