Our Focal Scripture speaks of the light which Zechariah, in a vision, saw in the temple. Notice that this light was the menorah. In God’s instructions to Moses, the menorah was not meant to go off (see Exodus 25, 27). The light of the temple was designed to shine perpetually. The light was designed to shine, shine and shine. It was that light that was not going to go off. It was that light that was not allowed to go down or go off.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are that light that will not go off. You are that light that will shine, shine and shine. You are that light that will shine even when other lights have gone off. You are that light that will shine even when the temple is down. You are that light that will shine no matter the conspiracies of the enemies. You are that light that will shine in perpetuity. You are that light that will not go down or go off.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatsoever light the Lord has lit in you will not go off. That ministry that the Lord has given you will not go off. The light of your family will not go off. The light of your career, business, vocation, etc. will not go off. Whatever the Lord has begun in your life, it will not go off. The light of your helpers will not go off. The light of your inner man will not go off. The light of your spirit will not go off.
If the light of the temple ever went off, the entire temple would be in darkness. Notice that the temple was not just the home of one person. It was a place visited by many, and darkness was not needed. Hear me again: there are lives connected to you. There are people connected to you, and your light will not go off. If your light were to go off, many would be stranded. Again, I decree, your light will not go off.
Every attack of the enemy to put off your light will come to nothing. You are that burning and shining light whose light will not go off.
