Ezekiel speaks of how the hand of the Lord was upon Him and carried him out in the Spirit of the Lord. By Ezekiel’s description, the Spirit of the Lord wrapped him and moved him out. Ezekiel was a mere mortal; the Spirit of the Lord was/is immortal. So though Ezekiel was mortal, he was wrapped up in immortality; though he was natural, he was carried by the supernatural. Ezekiel may have seemed alone, but he was certainly not alone.
Friend, in the eyes of men, you may look like one who is alone; but you are not alone. If you have embraced the finished work of Christ, though you are mortal, you are wrapped up in immortality; though you are natural, you are carried by the supernatural. Your life is not as ordinary as men think; you are not as vulnerable as men imagine; you are not as helpless as they think; you are not as empty as men imagine; you have supernatural links.
Go and announce to all those who think your life is ordinary, that the Creator of the universe lives in you and you live in Him; go and remind your opposers that they are not just opposing you alone but also opposing the King of Kings who carries you in His palms; remind yourself that you were wired to be carried by the Lord Himself; remind yourself that you are special because of Him who has redeemed you unto Himself.
No matter what life throws at you, remember that you are not alone; there is a God who is standing by you; there is a God in whom you live, move and have your being; there is a God in whose hands you are perfectly engraved; there is a God in whose plans you have been factored in; you are not a victim of whatever circumstances that surround you; you are not a victim of whatever lapses that exist in the systems around you.
Live in the consciousness of the hand of the Lord upon you and the presence of God’s Spirit in and around you. You are not alone.
