Unlikely Miracles

Unlikely Miracles

11th January 2020

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 10: 1-7

Focus

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?” (1 Samuel 10: 1)

Saul was a descendant of the tribe of Benjamin which was officially the least of the tribes of Israel. There were other tribes like Judah who had the scepter. There were tribes from the elder sons of Jacob, but it was from the tribe of Benjamin, the last son of Jacob, that the first king of Israel came forth. Saul was the most unlikely to be chosen, but he was chosen; it was a breakthrough that was most unlikely, but it happened for Saul.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2020, you shall be a recipient of unlikely surprises. God will cause you to receive things you never believed you would receive; you will be invited into corridors of power you never dreamt of being in; you will be given opportunities that are just too unlikely to come to you; you will be given platforms that will look too unlikely to come to you; you will be a recipient of the uncommon and unlikely.

Get set: in 2020, unlikely doors are opening to you; unlikely favours are coming your way; unlikely divine visitations shall be your portion; unlikely recommendations are coming to you; unlikely helpers of destiny shall locate you; unlikely testimonies will come your way; unlikely attainments will be your portion; unlikely platforms for influence and relevance shall be yours; get set for the most unlikely of surprises.

God always deposits the most grace in the least likely, least deserving vessels. If you are the least from the least tribe like Saul, then get set for an unlikely lifting that God Himself will orchestrate. If you are the least deserving of that which the Lord is able to do, then you are about to become a recipient of the gifts of Him who lifts even the poor and sets them among princes.

Your season for the uncommon and unlikely has just begun. Get set for the unusual. Get set for the unlikely.

Declaration
