Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Nebuchadnezzar had dreams that caused his sleep to depart from him. These dreams were in need of interpretation. Eventually, Daniel was the man through whom the interpretations came forth. Through Daniel, the meaning of Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams was unveiled. Daniel had the gift of understanding and interpretation of dreams (see Daniel 1: 17), and his gift was needed.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: what you have will be needed. Your skills will be needed; your expertise will be needed; your values will be needed; your ideas will be needed; the capacity you have in you will be needed; your innate abilities will be needed; your services will be needed; your wisdom will be needed; whatever the Lord has endowed you with will be needed by your generation; your capacity will be blessed with huge opportunities.
Daniel’s case was not that of one who had capacity but lacked patronage. He had capacity and had patronage at the highest levels. His patronage came from the palace. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you shall have patronage at the highest levels. The kings of your land shall call for what you have in you; the high and mighty shall call for what you have; nobles shall call for what you have; mighty men shall come for what you have.
It shall never be said that you had capacity but lacked opportunity or patronage. It shall never be said that you lacked platforms to express or manifest your God given potentials. It will never be said that you lacked access to great men who need what you have. It will never be said that you were idle in the market place of destiny. Others will not have opportunities and you will lack opportunities.
Get set to receive opportunities and platforms for your potentials and potentialities; get set for patronage at the highest levels.
