Followed By Provision

Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 2: 1-9

“And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.” (Nehemiah 2: 8)

In our Focal Scripture, Nehemiah requested for yet another letter that would be addressed to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he may be given timber to go and do the work of rebuilding in Judah. There was provision (timber) in the current location of Nehemiah, but there was none where he was going to. So he was simply requesting from the king that provision be allowed to follow him all the way to Judah.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will be followed by provisions. The things you need will follow you from where you are to where you need to use them. Favours will follow you; resources will follow you; the relationships you need will follow you; the help you need will follow you; the men you need will follow you; the provisions you need in order to fulfill purpose will follow you; the resources for your next level will follow you.

Nehemiah was trying to achieve what he didn’t have resources to achieve, and he made a demand from the king, and the king obliged him. Without any sweat of his own, he got resources to go and accomplish a major feat. Hear me as I hear the Lord: God will open the floodgate of resources, and you will achieve and accomplish what you ordinarily do not have the resources to accomplish. Receive resources for major feats.

Nehemiah was operating under the Old Covenant, and he got resources to go and accomplish his dream. If God would be kind to cause provisions to follow a man in the Old Covenant, how much more will He cause resources to follow you who operate under the New Covenant. In this season, uncommon resources will come your way to empower you for great achievements.

Get set to be followed by resources that you need; get set to receive resources to accomplish major feats.

I shall be followed by divine provision, in Jesus’ name!
