Helped By The Environment

10th November 2019

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 22-33

Focus

“But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.” (Matthew 14: 24)

The ship that carried Jesus’ disciples was tossed by waves in the midst of the sea because the wind was contrary. Something which ought to work in favour of the ship started working against the ship’s interest. Something connected to the ship became the root of the challenges the ship faced in the sea. Something surrounding the ship wanted to stop the ship. Something in the environment of the ship turned against the ship.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your environment will not turn against you. The people connected to you will not become messengers of your downfall. You will not be a victim of ‘waters’ you willingly chose to sail on. You will not be attacked by your environment; you will not suffer losses on account of people you allowed into your space; you will not be a victim of your environment and of your space.

What was meant to carry the ship started to toss it back and forth. Are you at that point where the people who should carry you have begun to turn you back and forth? Today, I decree, they will no longer toss you about. The things that should favour you will not work against you; the policies that should advance your interest will not make a mess of your destiny. The ‘carriers’ of your destiny will not carry you into danger and destruction.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: your environment will cooperate with you for your advancement. People connected to you will aid your rising; policies in your workplace will favour you; people in power shall rise to your defence when you need it; even your haters shall be compelled by the force of favour to do what will move you forward; your advancement shall be sponsored by your environment and people connected to you.

No longer shall you be hindered by the waters you sail on. No longer shall your progress become a victim of your environment.

Declaration

My environment will not work against me, in Jesus’ name!
