At some point in the life of David, he was on the run as a result of the perpetual harassment from King Saul. David had no place of abode, but in a matter of time, the King of the Philistines offered him Ziklag. David’s problem seemed solved for good, until the Amalekites showed up to take his wives and children captives and burnt Ziklag. David’s good news of being settled in Ziklag appeared to have become marred with bad news.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your good news will not be mixed with bad news. You will not be congratulated concerning a matter, only to become a victim on account of the same matter. You will not make progress in an area only for the tables to turn negatively against you. You will not be counted amongst them that rose to the top and suddenly went down. You will not be counted amongst them that advanced and retrogressed.
David moved from having a city where he lived with his family and his men and their families, to having a city that had been burned to ashes and the inhabitants taken away. It was a case of rising and falling. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in your destiny, there shall be no rising and falling. You will not move from good news to bad news. You will not move from relevance to extinction. You will not move from wealth to lack. You will not rise and fall.
Jesus did not redeem you so that you can rise and fall. Jesus redeemed you and took you into higher realms with Himself, where the enemy should find it difficult to pull you down. As surely as the Lord lives, the season of rising and falling in your life, is over. The season of good news that will be mixed with bad news, is over. The season of progress that will stop on the way, is over. The season of losing everything you have, is over.
No longer shall your good news be marred with bad news. No longer shall you rise and fall. Your good news will not be a harbinger of bad news.
