Our Focal Scripture speaks of the moment when Jesus went up to Jerusalem at the time when the Jews were feasting. Jesus went to Jerusalem to be part of the feast. He didn’t necessarily go to Jerusalem because of the man at the pool of Bethesda; but in the process of time, His movement was altered to accommodate the healing of that man. Jesus seemed to alter the existing movement plan in order to heal a man at the pool.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: plans will be altered to favour you. You may not yet be in the list of those to be favoured, you may not be in the list of those to be given opportunities, but as surely as the Lord lives, things will be overturned for your sake. Plans and processes will be altered for your sake. The plans of men will be altered to favour you. The protocols of institutions will be altered to favour you.
You may not be the chosen one yet, but God will change policies and programs to favour you. You may appear to have missed out on the opportunities you were waiting for, but God will cause a redirection of fortunes, and in the end, you will have no option but to smile and dance for joy. You may not even have any man to speak for you, just like that man at the pool, but Jesus has you all figured out, and He knows how to fix you in.
No mention was eventually made of how Jesus ate at the feast in Jerusalem, but mention was made of how that man at the pool of Bethesda received his healing by the hands of Jesus. So Jesus turned the tables, and the miracle of the man at the pool overshadowed the real reason why He came to Jerusalem. Get set: your results will soon overshadow the processes that were altered for your sake. You will soon be the laughter destination.
Get set to have plans and processes altered for your sake. Get set to have tables turned in your favour. Get set to have the Lord overturn and overturn until your portion comes to you.
