The ‘Us’ Miracle

21st July 2019

Scripture Reading: Luke 8: 22-25

Focus

“Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.” (Luke 8: 22)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus said to His disciples, let us go over to the other side. Jesus did not speak of crossing over to the other side with a few of the disciples. He spoke of crossing over with all of them. Among those disciples, there would have been some who were weak and some who were strong; there were some whose faith was low and some whose faith was high. Jesus took them all; it was an ‘us’ miracle; everyone crossed over.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your movement shall be called an ‘us’ miracle. You may not be as strong as others, but you will cross over; you may not know as much as they know but you will cross over; you may not have as much faith as others but you will cross over; you may not have as much contacts as others have, but you will cross over; you may not be as empowered as some others are, but you will cross over.

In your family, both the strong and the weak will move over to the other side. Even those who are not as qualified to move over, mercy will speak on their behalf. The same God who causes the strong to make progress will also make room for the weak to make progress. The same God who empowered the strong will create space for the weak; when strength is not enough, grace and mercy will speak to make progress a reality.

It will not be said that you crossed over alone; as you cross over, everything connected to you will cross over; as you cross over, your dreams will cross over; as you cross over, your vocation will cross over, your career will cross over, your business will cross over, your ministry will cross over, your resources will cross over, and everything that pertains to you will cross over.

Get set to have the ‘us’ miracle; get set to cross over even if you are not strong enough; get set to have everything and everyone connected to you cross over.

Declaration

I will cross over; everything connected to me will cross over, in Jesus’ name!
