Touch The Word

3rd June 2020

Scripture Reading: luke 8: 43-48

Focus

“Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.” (Luke 8: 44)

The woman with the issue of blood came behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment. In Numbers 15 vs. 38-39, God commanded the children of Israel to put fringes (hem) in their garments, as a reminder of the commandments He gave to them. So the hem was symbolic of the word of the Lord to His people. So when that woman touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she simply touched and held the place of the word.

Friend, whatever you need is in the word. The miracles you desire are in the word of the Lord. The breakthroughs you desire can be called forth by the same word that created the universe. The next level you seek can be called forth by the word of the Lord. The open doors you desire can be made a reality by the word of the Lord; the healings, deliverance, miracles, etc you desire are all embedded in the word of the Lord.

Whenever God speaks, He is cooking a miracle; and when you hear or read the word of the Lord, you are simply positioning yourself to receive from the Lord. When you open up yourself to God’s word, you are simply opening your doors so that the vehicle that conveys divine manifestation can come in. When you feast on the word of the Lord, you are simply getting ready to become more than you are ordinarily wired for.

Don’t be part of a generation that will rather hold on to bad news instead of the word of the Lord. Don’t be part of a generation that prefers the report of men and bad reports of the economy over and above the word of the Lord. Don’t join the multitude of those who will rather speak of the negativity that is currently happening, rather than confess the word of the Lord.

Remember, she touched the hem, she touched the place of the word, and her healing came forth. Stay in touch with the word of the Lord, and your miracles will become your reality.

Declaration
