It is instructive to observe that the dream of Nebuchadnezzar was about a season that was yet in the future. He had a dream that was essentially a revelation of what was yet to happen. He had a dream that showed him what would happen in years to come. He had a dream that revealed what others were yet to see. Nebuchadnezzar saw a future that others were yet to see. He saw it before it became the reality of others.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God will cause your eyes to be open to see what others have not seen. God will cause you to see things before they happen. God will speak to you about opportunities before they show up; God will give you access into the realms of the Spirit to see what mere mortals are yet to see; God will cause you to see the future of nations; God will cause you to see the realities that are yet ahead for people around you.
Nebuchadnezzar was not even a part of the New Covenant; he was an infidel who did not worship God, but God revealed the future to him. If God could reveal the future to someone who had no relationship with Him, how much more will He grant you access into the realms of the future if you walk with Him. If God could reveal the future to a pagan, then you are more than qualified to see the future if you have a walk with God.
Did you realize that the secret things of the Lord belong to those who fear Him? Did you realize that God does not want you to step into tomorrow without seeing it ahead of time? Did you realize that you are a spirit who is not bound by time, and who is free and qualified to see the future? Did you realize that you could desire to see the future and God would open your eyes to see? Did you know that you could have spiritual intelligence?
Ask God to open the eyes of your inner man, so that you can see what He has to reveal. Ask God to reveal the plans of the enemy before they happen. Ask God to show you what will happen before it happens.
